The Cargo Cache
- is a hard-sided and lockable trunk that attaches to all standard rear racks.
- allows bicycle commuters and tourists the peace of mind that their possessions are securely locked away on their bikes.

The Cargo Cache is made from ABS plastic just like most of the Thule or Yakama car top boxes.

Two keys are provided for the lock.
Once fastened to your rear rack removal requires access to both the underside AND interior of the Cargo Cache.

Fitting a Cargo Cache -
The Cargo Cache is designed to use any standard bicycle rack.
It can be installed to use the entire bicycle rack only if there is enough space between the rack and the saddle.
On smaller bikes with the saddles set low the Cargo Cache may need to be installed further to the rear than shown.
In extreme cases the Cargo Cache may not fit at all.
If there are any concerns about the fit then it is advised that bike rack and saddle relationship be measured and compared against this drawing:
Optional Cargo Tie-down Straps: These tie-down straps can hold down the contents of your Cargo Cache, such as books or a laptop, and even small items such as a cellphone or a PDA. They are installed under the bolts that secure the Cargo Cache to the bike rack. The straps can be cross-laced or they can run longitudinally. Or, you can make your own set of straps.
