There is a new Deep Rim on the Market.  
The FOER Rim is 41.5mm deep and only 570 grams, that is 200 grams lighter than the Velocity B43 and 45 grams lighter than the H plus Son Formation Face 42mm Rim.  
These are only double walled so they are not going to be as strong as a triple walled B43 but should be more than strong enough for regular city riding.
