The use of the auxiliary motor is very simple: just click on the switch placed on the handlebar and then pedal.
The motor is active only when pedals turn: the output of the motor comes down when increasing the speed of pedals.
To pedal without the aid of the motor, just switch off the switch.

The Motor for the Di Blasi R34 Folding Electric Tricycle is not inventoried in the USA.
The Motor must be imported from Di Blasi and then assembly takes place in the USA.
As a result, delivery will be approximately 60 - 90 days from date of order.
As this is a special order, it cannot be cancelled, once it has been placed.

Folding and unfolding the R34 is as simple and quick as the R32 - the only difference is that it is necessary also to remove or install the battery pack.
The dimensions of the R34 when folded and when unfolded are the same as the R32.

The R34 and the R32 can accept the same accessories.

The R34 uses an LiPo (Lithium Polymer) battery pack which is much lighter than a lead battery pack of the same capacity.
Furthermore LiPo batteries are much more reliable because their use does not require special care thanks to an electronic control device for charging and discharging.

The main differences between the R34 and the 32 are:

* Engine: 24V - 250 W
* Total weight of the tricycle (including the LiPo batteries): 27,5 kg
* LiPo battery pack: 24V - 9 Ah ; weight 2,35 kg
* Range on flat road: more than 20 km

The Di Blasi R34 folding trike has a low central step through frame which allows easier access and makes it particularly adaptable for the elderly and those with minor physical handicaps.

Normally a tricycle can only be used near home because of its difficulty to carry in other vehicles.
But a folding tricycle, which is easily stowed in the boot of a car, can be used away from home, on holiday, or wherever one wishes.

Di Blasi folding tricycles are a small engineering masterpiece.
They were able to create a three-dimensional automatic folding mechanism (much more complex than that for bicycles) while maintaining the simplicity and quickness of folding that is characteristic of their other vehicles.
