INSTALLATION;
Installation is easy. Just follow the instructions that come with the bike rack.
One of the images shows how easy the installation is.

Note:
A cable lock should always be used in transporting any bike.
Both for theft and security in case of an accident.

Installing the Strap System
Strap cam (locking unit) MUST be in this location for proper pull on rack relative to the truck.
DO NOT over tighten. It just needs to be snug.
Step 1: Secure carabineer to existing truck cargo loop
Step 2: Position bike rack toward front on bed (as shown)
Step 3: Attach strap ‘S” hook to front loop on rack
Step 4: Clip strap to carabineer (as shown)
Step 5: Attach strap “S” hook to rear loop on rack
Step 6: Pull strap at cam until strap system is snug. (Do not over tighten)

Note:
The long thin loop under the left side of the rack is for a safety cable and lock (neither supplied).
When rack is in the bed of the truck with or without bikes you should ALWAYS have racks securely locked to the truck.
