The integrated strap system guide guarantees a good and tight fit. The IAS knob can be operated with one hand, while the helmet is on. The system also features a ventilated forehead with anti-allergic, washable cushion. Where other helmets have their protective foam glued into the hard outer shell, in the Uvex in-mold process, the foam is injected into a mold that is "lined" with the Makrolon outer shell. As a result, the foam is bonded to the outer shell. The result is a much more stable helmet, which allows UVEX to increase the size of the ventilation openings. This helmet is exclusively made in Germany.
