A standard pedal does not take into account the thickness of the foot, shoe, cleat or pedal in regard to its axle. First innovation To take into account all these parameters, the pressure area of the Vista pedal was lowered AND the axle of the pedal is merged with the axle of the big toe for an optimum return. Second innovation The pressure point (axle of the big toe) was increased so that it is in advance (vertical crank) in regard to the axle of the crankset.
