The Velocity Race Hubs were designed from the ground up with serviceability, durability, and weight all in mind.
This hard anodized hub is designed with offset flanges to help provide equal spoke tension, eliminating the need for an off-center rim.
These sealed bearing Race Hubs provide another reason why Velocity is the best name to ride with!
Due to the increased demands of Cyclocross and wet weather riding in general, Velocity improved the bearing seal on all Race hubs.
Race hubs will now use a 2RS bearing seal in place of the older 2RU seals.
The 2RS is a “contact” seal that provides much greater resistance to water and dirt.
The new seal also features greater grease retention prolonging the life of the bearing under even the most brutal conditions.
